~STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE~
And, what the Cubs win might mean for Hillary Clinton
It is funny, I use this phrase, “stepping up to the plate”, all the time and I have never been to a baseball game!
For me, when I use this phrase, I mean this:
We all need to step up to the challenges in the world that we resonate with.
We need to step up to the challenges from our own authentic self and with courage ignited we must do all that we can do to solve the problem. We must use our gifts, experiences and expertise that we have accumulated by working on this problem that we resonate with.
Doing this is also called “fulfilling our purpose”
Another way to say it is what Obama said in a speech today, November 3, 2016. He was quoting John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church.
“Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.” (John Wesley, founder of the Methodist church.)
Well this sums up stepping up to the plate for me.
I also celebrate the Cubs win today and think it is a good sign for Hillary Clinton.
Here is what Peter Alexander of the Today show said today:
“In every World Series since 1924 when the game was decided during game 7 of a Presidential Election year; when The American League team won, the Republican candidate won and when the National League team won, the Democrats won.”
Enough said…………..Let us do all that we can to make sure that the right candidate wins since the right baseball team won!
