RE:  Pete Carroll
Hello, I am one of those people that literally only watches one football game a year:  The Super one.  So, this year I was happy to root for the SEAHAWKS since I lived in Seattle twice for a few years.
I am writing actually to Pete Carroll today to say  Thank YOU!  wow, as a psychotherapist and a minister, I must say I know how to treat people with love and respect and kindness and I have never known a coach to speak with love and respect and kindness to his team until I met or saw Coach Carroll on t.v.

I also must say that I have never heard a coach speak the way Pete Carroll does about his players. When I heard him say:   WE MUST TRUST IN OURSELVES, BELIEVE IN ONE ANOTHER, AND SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER, I was truly enchanted.  The way he handled the loss in the media interviews inspired me even more. It was as if he were taking the play book from me as to how to help people move beyond a loss. I heard him saying that the team could grow from the loss. I heard him saying that his team could feel the way they needed to and he would still be present to them. I heard him speak in a way that I speak to people who have suffered a loss.

Maybe I will watch more than one game a year as long as Pete Carroll is the coach.
