The ANSWER TO EVERY PROBLEM: SO RIDICULOUSLY SIMPLE.

The ANSWER TO EVERY PROBLEM: SO RIDICULOUSLY SIMPLE.

The answer to all challenges: Accept that we are all equal to one another, not better than or less than but equal.

We humans can’t seem to understand this truth.  All spiritual leaders have proclaimed this. All wise teachers model this. Parents who are emotionally well show their children this.

There are two steps to this process.

  1. Find inner oneness which means come to accept all parts of ourselves. Be willing to accept that each one of us is born with unique gifts and each one of us has challenges. PERIOD.  If we are willing to accept that we are gifted, uniquely gifted, we then must be willing to accept that we have challenges. And, often it in the overcoming of the challenges that we find our gifts.

  1. Find outer oneness with all of our brothers and sisters, and then be willing to learn to be “equal to”, and learn to communicate from this place of equality.

In my opinion, I believe that the very life within me is also the life within all of creation. This is why I have been saying for over 25 years:

GOD IS EVERYONE OF US TOGETHER, THE ROCKS, THE TREES, THE FLOWERS AND THE SEAS; AND ALL CREATURES WHETHER OF FUR, FIN, FEATHER OR SKIN.

So, if this is the answer to every challenge, then this answer will solve the problems of war, sexual harassment, the kneeling at NFL games to find a way to speak about injustice, physical abuse and more.

Let’s take two examples that are in the news right now. The first example:

Sexual harassment and sexual abuse by the famous movie producer, Henry Weinstein. Though the fact that his abuse of women has come out and appears to be shocking, the facts are that “male privilege” operates in every area of our world.  IF women were seen as equal to men, then this type of abuse would not be happening.

Example number two:

The ridiculous and infantile sparring between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un is an example of two people who feel so “less than”, that they have to pretend they are “better than”.  These two leaders show how unable they are to accept themselves because they have projected their unhealed shame issues onto each other and the world gets to watch.  If they were willing to deal with their own shame issues, they would be able to accept that they are equal to and be willing to come to the negotiation table.

In the next blog, I will talk about what this looks like in real life: that is if we choose to accept that we are all “equal to”.
