Easter Sunday Blessing: April 20, 2014
Jesus: “Where 2 or more are gathered, there am I in the midst of them”
Mark Nepo: on the true meaning of acceptance: “ By …….inhabiting our capacity to see and affirm the common pulse of life we find in others, no matter how different they may seem from us”…this leads to the awareness that giving and receiving are two sides of the same coin.
Suzanne Carter: “God is everyone of us together: The rocks, the seas, the flowers and the trees, and all creatures whether of fur, fin, feather or skin.”
On this Easter Sunday, I proclaim that one of the main teachings that Jesus came to earth to teach was oneness.
In the scripture quote above, we know that as we gather together in that Christ consciousness (which means authentic consciousness that is our common link to one another), that our consciousness united is exalted and there is nothing that we cannot do together.
Mark Nepo speaks to this in another way telling us to gaze upon one another, to be present to one another from the “common pulse” within. From this place of awareness and attention, we realize we are one.
And, I quoted myself here as well, believing that one definintion of God, (knowing that God cannot be defined but only described), is that the Divine is really all of us together.
Today’s blog is simple: To survive, we must choose to know we are all one, that there is a common pulse that unites us that cannot be severed. And, when we are willing to return to this awareness, all things are possible.
And, though this is simple, to get there is simply the purpose of one’s life journey. This journey takes 100% commitment to become one’s authentic self and to be willing to heal anything that stands in the way of the expression of the authentic self.
And, there is, thankfully, no other way and this way is the path of soul peace and soul JOY!
Happy and Joyous EASTER celebrations.
