Gratitude is a prayer of the heart… GRATITUDE GETS US IN TUCH WITH OUR HEART.
There are many ways to use gratitude as a prayer in our lives. When we can say thank you God for something that caused us great pain in the past and then led to great growth;
this form of gratitude lets us know that no matter what challenges we may be facing, as we connect with the presence of God within, we will always make it through with flying colors.
When we can say thank you God for what is in the present, we are automatically connecting to the Now and that is where the Kingdom of Heaven is: in this NOW moment.
The kingdom of Heaven is the realm of Divine Ideas and ideas are the most powerful thing in all the Universe.
. Prayer is answered through Divine Ideas. When we say thank you God, we are opening a channel to receive spiritual guidance.
When we can say thank you God for what will be, in the future, we create an attitude of expectancy….we are saying, it is already so…..and therefore there is no gap between what we want and what will be.
Gratitude is the bridge between our desire and the manifestation of our desire.
And as we give thanks in advance, we are affirming that our prayers will be answered.
A prayer of Gratitude is a shape shifter that can change our hunger for something to a “knowing” that it will come to pass at the right and perfect time. This prayer of gratitude puts us in touch with guidance so we know what steps to take to bring our desire to fulfillment
IN summary, Gratitude is the easiest spiritual practice we can do….Jesus taught this in the Biblical story of the loaves and fishes. When Jesus took the loaves and fishes that he had at the moment and blessed them with great gratitude and expectancy, the loaves and fishes multiplied to meet everyone’s needs.
Meister Eckhart, world famous mystic said: if the only prayer you ever say is
Thank you God , that is enough.
