This morning I woke up with this question  in my mind. The question was being asked of me:

“WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN GOD IS NOT WORKING IN YOUR LIFE”.

And, I answered the question:

“There is never a time when God is not working in my life because God is:

PURE INTELLIGENCE, PURE LOVE, PURE LIGHT, PURE LIFE AND THIS PRESENCE OF GOD IS WITHIN ME, WITHIN ALL OF CREATION.

Well, I must say that the question posed and my answer woke me up with a sense of Gratitude.

I have been on a life long journey to find and seek Wholeness within me. I have been seeking to re-connect with my truest self and then to learn how to live from this authentic self.

I learned so much in my adventures in Psychology. I have always believed that we must actualize our truest self and my travels through Psychology enabled me to truly see that this is possible. Yet there was always something missing and what was the “how to”.

I wondered as I tried and failed to live from my authentic self,  ” How can I truly connect with and then live from my authentic self”?

Then, when I found Unity, that is when everything made sense. Unity teaches that the very presence of the Divine is within. Unity’s main teachings tell us that God,  or LIFE or LIGHT or LOVE( it does not matter what you call God or the Divine) is within us.  This presence enables us to connect to and live from our essence.

Thus, my early morning experience upon waking let me know that I do understand these truths right now and it is time to live authentically NOW.

One definition I have used for God for the last 12 years is this:
GOD IS EVERYONE OF US TOGETHER, THE ROCKS, THE SEAS, THE FLOWERS AND THE TREES AND ALL CREATURES WHETHER OF FUR, FIN, FEATHER, SCALES OR SKIN.

Because of this, Divine Light guides us, Divine Love transforms us and Divine Life heals and re-vitalizes.

All I can say right now is : Thank you God. and I am at peace.
