I saw a post on Face book yesterday that really affected me. The title of the post was: “all lives matter”.

And of course this is true, AND, the ones whose lives do not seem to matter, the ones who have to protest and stand up are and say: “WE ARE HERE!” Need to protest and stand up because the majority of people have said these groups that are protesting “DO NOT MATTER AS MUCH AS THE OTHERS”.

It is the age-old battle the lizard brain creates by saying: “These people are in my tribe, those are not”.

If the ones who are objecting to the protests, really believe “ALL lives matter”, then I respectfully ask them to speak from their Wizard brain and see that the ones who are protesting, need to be seen as equal to; they need to be seen as mattering too.

The Wizard brain is the only part of us that can do this. Maybe this is why Harry Potter was so popular: Because we need to learn to operate from our Wizard brain………….and hold the lizard in safety (because that is all it wants ultimately).

If we become willing to allow our action to flow from the words:   ALL LIVES MATTER, we will indeed experience the safety we all need in order to make our deepest dreams come true.

As 2015 draws to a close, I can think of no one who expresses these ideas better than Mark Nepo. In his book, THE BOOK OF AWAKENING, he tells us on page 428 in the passage marked for December 30:

“…………rather it feels inevitable and holy that we should become what we seek. We start out wanting to know love and living long enough, we become love. We start out wanting to know God, and suffering long enough, we become God. Over time, the heart expands from within and all our skins thin until we become something elemental rounding to the next grain of wisdom to be found.”

For me, Nepo is telling us that we become what we seek; and thus if we seek love and to be loving, we become love.

And, likewise, if we seek division, as the lizard brain does so well, we become divided.

I ask all of those who resonate with this blog, to join me in seeking oneness and in this, we shall see that we are all truly one and that there truly is no “other”. The “other” that we see is only an illusion, that if perpetuated will lead to continued crisis and chaos.

The Wizard brain, our neo cortex, will lead us into new Harmony that we can experience now.
